Diwan-i-Khas or the ‘Hall of Private Audiences’ is a grand chamber in Fatehpur Sikri. This is the place where Emperor Akbar had discussion with other people on matters relating to different religions.
It is a plain square building with four chhatris on top however it is famous for its central pillar which has amazing designs. It is one of the most prestigious monuments which offers an excellent glimpse of the life in the Mughal Court in Fatehpur Sikri.
The place is open all days from 7AM-6PM and there is no entry fee. This place is a must visit for those who are interested to know more about the Mughal Era.
